‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah complaining that Surur does not respond to his letters nor does she explain the reasons for her decision not to write to him. He also talks about meeting with Rukn al-Sultan and Fakham al-Saltanah for permission, that he was hoping for settling the date on the sixteenth, but they had decided to postpone it to the twenty sixth, and that he is not happy for this delay but he will stay patient. At the end, he mentions that, despite her decision to stop correspondence, he is sending this letter along with few other letters...

‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah about a misunderstanding between them. He expresses his love for Surur and refers to a photograph sent by Surur that he has sent her back without looking at it. He apologizes for his letter that was written before knowing Surur's intention for sending the photograph which apparently has been partly a joke and partly to test him. Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk also tells her about the death of the one-and-half year old son of his sister, ‘Ismat al-Muluk, who was being taken care of by Khanum in Mashhad. He was sad to think of ‘Ismat...

‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah probably from Khurasan, in which he explains why he had missed the postman since he had gone to the suburbs of Mashhad to oversee his properties and got stuck because of the snow. He mentions how much he misses her and complains that when he was in Tehran and insisted on seeing Surur al-Saltanah, she would put it off and now that he is away she says that she misses him, and he asks her whether she will agree to meet with him when he is back. He informs her that he will be coming back to Tehran the day after ʻAid-i...

Love letters of ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash), son of Karim Dad Khan, to Surur al-Saltanah, daughter of Zarrin Kulah Khanum and Khazin al-Mulk, accompanied by some envelopes and part of a letter, probably from Surur al-Saltanah to Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk.
